When you think about Greg Biffle’s career, a lot of moments stick out as highlights. Whether it’s the amazing fuel save to get his first win in the Pepsi 400, his streak of Homestead wins in the mid-2000s or even his triumphant comeback to the Truck Series in 2019, there’s a lot of moments that could be considered his greatest. But when I think about Greg Biffle, the first thing that comes to mind is how good his paint schemes looked. That iconic #16 font, usually in neon yellow, graced some of the best looking race cars that have ever touched asphalt. It didn’t matter if it was the National Guard primary or a one-off scheme for a random 3M brand, you could always count on the #16 to look great.
After Greg’s tragic death, I wanted to bring some of my favorite paint schemes of his to the modern cars. The schemes have some adjustments to fit the Next Gen cars and not conflict with current RFK sponsors but I tried to stay faithful to the original designs whenever possible. As always, I hope anyone who downloads this set enjoys it and feedback is welcome.
