This is a half mile coliseum oval partially inspired by Jonny, and partially inspired by Legion Saga II, an RPG Maker 2000 game I recently did a hopefully-entertaining-but-probably-cringy Let's Play of on Youtube. Speaking of RPG Maker 2000, this is kind of a tribute from me to that community circa-2003. I was told quite often while making this track that it reminded people of Circus Minimus. I had no idea what that was because that was in a game I never played.
This track has zero banking, probably multiple lines, kinda wonky AI, particularly when pitting. The flags in the median can be changed individually, and I included two sets of alternate flags to showcase it. One set has a bunch of numbers and icons of racing champions of EFR offline leagues, so you might recognize a few of them, you might not. The other set is a series of portraits done for the RPG Maker community by Japanese artist Roco.
I'm actually quite proud by how comically simple the grandstands were made. They're all wall sections. So if you fly into them, you will land on something solid, though I must admit that might be somewhat of a tall order.
As with all of my tracks, you're free to edit them and use them to help yourself learn Sandbox, Winmip, etcetera.
Credits for some of the textures on this track, in no particular order;
Kamau, Mack & Blue, Roco, Delita Hyral X, Ceej, Digital Blasphemy, Don Miguel, J.R. Hildebrand (one of the numbers on one of the flags), The Charas Project, Ayruline, ASCII/Enterbrain, Squaresoft (the default flags), Crown of the Bride, Mr_Sparkle, Notonl8ly
I don't exactly think screenshots do this track justice, so here's a Youtube video of the AI running around this track in action. It shows off the TV1, TV2, Spectator (which I typically use as an extra TV camera), Pit Lane 1, and Pit Lane 2 cameras.
