  • After a lot of thought and conversations within the community, we’re happy to announce that Stunod Racing will not be shutting down. The incredible support we’ve seen from all of you has played a huge role in this decision, and we’re truly grateful to everyone who values and contributes to what makes this community so special.

We’ve been exploring ways to manage the costs of keeping Stunod Racing up and running, as the current expenses felt unsustainable. We considered moving conversations to Discord or creating a standalone site for file hosting, but those options didn’t really fit what most of the community wants or the experience we aim to provide.

Here’s the plan moving forward: Stunod Racing will remain open, but we’ll be making some changes to how files are hosted. There will be a few upfront costs during this transition, but these updates will help reduce our expenses over time and make things more manageable in the long run. We’ve been working with a few members and programmers to figure out the best solutions, and while there are still some details to iron out, we’re confident we’re heading in the right direction.

Thank you for sticking with us and being patient as we work through these changes. With your support, we’ll ensure Stunod Racing continues to be a place for creativity, collaboration, and connection in the racing community.

Stay tuned—we’ll share more updates soon!

So, what if NASCAR was more international? Racing in Australia, Japan, Canada, England, United States (Obviously) and more?

Well, I give you a sort of Stock Car Championship Version 2, so to speak!

54 Cars (46 Drivers) who have unique stories and backgrounds who come into the NASCAR sphere to race!

All cars have painted pit crews (Should at least) and are all rated. Yes. Rated.

The biggest question you may have is, "No car numbers?" Yes. No Car Numbers. I played "Andretti Racing" on a PS1 Emulator, and it featured both CART and NASCAR (EA's first racing game with NASCAR drivers). None of the cars featured a number on them, so I took inspiration from that and ran with it. It was also going to be the basis of an Alternate History NASCAR series, and championship, which does have a championship file made for it. It'll be marked "NASCAR CUP SERIES".

Other inspirations were the V8 Supercars for the Ford vs Holden rivalry, so this championship has Ford vs Cheverolet! No Pontiacs or Dodges in the set. There are 2 player cars (One Ford and one Chevy) Based off some famous Video Game/Movie cars!

For now though, here is the car set. The set is based on the 97-99 seasons so it'll include tracks from that era. There are year marked Alternatives, so pick and choose what you feel. Two ".lst" files, International for all the funded teams with sponsors, and NASCAR CUP for the North American dates.

The schedule and tracks required to run are as follows (Dates based off a 1999 calendar for added...realism?) :
