It is finally here! One of the most technically intensive paint schemes I think I have every attempted. Part way through this project - at that point creating my own hand-blended chroma shift - I was introduced to the Chrome Illusioner 6 program, and I gotta tell you, I think I am going to have SOOOOO much fun with this thing! In the end, I ended up using a combination of both blended photoshop layers and effects rendered in Chrome Illusioner. I am extraordinarily happy with the way this rare scheme has turned out and I hope you feel the same.
Special Chroma paint scheme as run by John Andretti at the inaugural Pepsi 400 under the lights at Daytona at the end of the 1998 season. The Daytona night race had been rescheduled from its original July day due to wildfires raging across Florida - and special decals for Smokey the Bear and the Forest Conservation Foundation adorned this tribute to the Fire Fighters who battled the blazes. This scheme also ran at Talladega the week prior - just without the extra tribute decals. #43 Pontiac Grand Prix fielded by Petty Enterprises. Paint scheme done for the cup98 mod. Crew and ratings included.
