1983 NASCAR Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series carset.
The series was called the Budweiser Late Model Sportsman Series in 1982 and 1983, the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series from 1984 through 2003, the NASCAR Busch Series from 2004 through 2007, the NASCAR Nationwide Series from 2008 through 2014, and is now called the NASCAR Xfinity Series today.
In 1983 there were only 5 drivers that made all 35 races, another 14 drivers raced 20-32 races, 7 drivers raced 11-19 races and 121 drivers that raced 10 races or less. The Jack Ingram/Sam Ard rivalry continued in 1983 and this year would see Sam Ard as the '83 champion with 10 wins and a 87 point lead over Ironman Jack Ingram.
Set is to be used with V8Mod's Classic Late Models mod available at Smiffsden & The Mod Squad and consists of 73 cars in total, 71 paints and 2 player cars (in case you haven't painted yourself one yet) & 1 '83 roster file.
