Hello. I hope this is the right forum section. I have recently been playing with car modding in Nr2003. Ive used the "rockstar" tools to get a basic car model in the game and driving. Now I am looking to expand it a bit. I was able to locate a .psg script for a COT mod a few years back. I cant quite wrap my head around the scripting to make tire models work. My current tire is mapped to my car paint template and the rubber uses the "slowgdyr" type texture. So 2 objects. I copied the COT script section of the wheels, and named my models accordingly. The .psg errors, and i cant figure out why.

Is there anybody out that can help me with a wheels.3do script or attempt to point me in the right direction to make this work properly?

As far as the car models. Just some local type short track cars. Ran all over the country in different variations, someday my mod may reflect the body styles you see all over the country.
My 1st car model for Nr2003 ended up being right about 3700 polygons with the wheel models (no damage or LODs either) Ill post a couple renders of the model. Sorry I am not capable of fancy renders that some guys around here are, gives ya an idea.

If you coped the custom wheel part that is in the Nisbet_3do_Tutorial it has 3 models of the tires and wheel which are the lod levels so you will need to model your tires and wheel 3 times each at a lower rez. an name them the way they are in the script

Yea, I did that a few dozen times lol. Gives me some variation of the same “maxCars” error on whatever line of code I attempt to use that; which is also used in the COT.psg

Anyway, thanks for the reply man. I do appreciate it.

I dont remember what line exactly, no.

This is the line it was tripping on. Without back tracking now I dont remember the exact error.

With out seeing what you have I can't tell you what is wrong.
Make shure all the names mach to your max files make changes if needed

Man.... that's looking sweet. Are you considering other models to fill out the NR2003 model limit? There are some great looking Modifieds with Five Star bodies on them. I see a lot of them at Jennerstown.

even an outlaw body with the nose.... seen many of them
