Next up Fil we need to get you a car painted, I prefer that the Trans Am legends car remain unsoiled by our less than worthy attempts...

So which make do you want, what number, what color any other details you can give me and I'll put something together for you...

BTW there is plenty of racing left for this series, I'll spot you points for all the missed races to get you into the hunt, OK?

Thanks, Highbanks :) might use some points to start it off.

So, I was looking to get a Dodge Challenger since no one took it from what I see. But I have trouble finding the template for it. Anyway, I opted for a 1968 Chevy Camaro. I drew my own paintjob and completed the whole info, livery, preview thing. I hope this is acceptable. Let me know what to do next.

Thanks boys, cheers! :) It was my pleasure. Thank you all for a warm welcome. Mick, you were wheelin and sliding that thing like a boss, it was a tight race until the end! Yeah, I made several mistakes but held on! Hopefully, we'll get Cliff's troubles on joining the server solved.
Turned some laps with a Dodge just to get used to that one in particular, but changed my mind because of lack of painting templates for it as I needed a new painjob. But that '68 Chevy just wouldn't take some of those bumps which I discovered too late. I had to raise that ride height and soften the suspension, it felt like a boat... that's what my old F1 simracing buddy would say: Oh no, you're racing those boats again!

I'll be honest, whenever I'm into this, I'm pretty dedicated. I raced with a similar bunch to this with NR2003, years ago. A bit mixed age and skill group of around 12 people, led by two 50+ year old gentlemen from UK back then racing trucks on classic road tracks from US, Europe and Australia. There was one rival there from US of similar age to mine, that I just couldn't beat for the championship but had more fun online than ever. I was on a 10+ years long hiatus since 2008. So in my return to simracing and the beginnings of my Assetto Corsa adventure I got a lot of mods, among them the ACL Trans Am. I loved them! I drove a lot of different cars and tracks with AC last several months to practice car control, get back into shape and even better. Raced against a lot of faster guys online at SimRacing System. I was dedicated to that and didn't get iRacing, rFactor 2 or something else as AC did enough for me already and it was very sophisticated to set up in the first place. Now, give me any car and I'll get it working for me soon enough. Additionally, I tried to run NR2003 at my buddy's place some time before, and I couldn't turn a lap anymore at Bristol :D

Sadly, I never found some place to race someone with the ACL Trans Am mod until now. So only raced against AI with these cars so far a couple of times. Occasionally, I would waste more time on fixing AI line on tracks and stupid bugs like obsolete on board camera settings.

I'll help however I can if someone's got a tough time around these tracks or with these cars. For next race at Bridgehampton I'll post some setups for all the cars. Although, there's a lot more to this apart from setups. Such as slowing in time, heel-and-toe, trying to always hug the apex, staying in the groove not going wide and practicing being smooth on controls overall.

Yea, it may be time for me to venture in to the "garage" portion.. I just run it stock, but as you say it feels like a boat, especially under braking. I like to hang out the rear-end though. You saw it first hand. x'D But the highlight reel is uploading now!! Looked like some good battles going on! Justin and Tom had pretty lonely nights, it appeared, but the rest seemed to be mixing it up with each other pretty good!!

* Bill can probably hook ya up with a template for a Dodge, if you want. (You can make them with Content Manager)
** Any help around Bridgehampton is welcomed!!
*** Hopefully Clif solves his issue!! (Clif, look in your "documents/assetto corsa/logs" folder.. Might be something in there that'll help solve the issue! ) Let me know if I can help!!

I may take you up on that car set up offer. Great race with you and Mick and Justin up front!
