*** BREAKING NEWS ***
There was a break-in at the TLR shop sometime late Saturday!
Apparently some joyrider looking for a quick thrill ... took our Alfa out for an awful flogging. Obviously had no idea what he was doing … when we found it, the tires were nothing but molten black puddles, the tranny was completely trashed, and to top it off, the heathen burnt up every drop of fuel in the tank.
Investigation is underway. One of our neighbors did report some shady-looking dude in a strange vehicle, Toyota maybe, with Florida plates driving slowly through the area (at least slow on the TLR neighborhood scale), but we get tons of fans, gawkers, and autograph seekers around here, so probably nothing to it. Only other thing unusual was it looked like someone tried to pry open our bourbon cabinet, but that could have just been our team spotter.
Anyway, there’s no way TLR can field the Alfa after such an egregious molestation, so we’re hard at work trying to throw together some heap to make the next race. Probably going to have broken mirrors, faulty brakes, and lots of blind spots, but we’ll do our best to make it!

30 races in this series, changes are expected by the painting team.... we're not even half-way done yet. Tigg swapped brands, I expect to see more mark swaps

Really? You know, my mechanic loved them as well. He would swear they could make a supercharged small block Chevy sound like a European weedeater ... I never understood why that was appealing.
Anyway, they're junk too, jam packed with grass and pea gravel. We found the car hidden way back behind Bubba's Bait and Vape Superstore, and from the looks of it, the heathen must have slid the thing backward all the way there. How he got that far off the paved road, I'll never know.
