Good ideaHopefully John has his new system up and running!! But, just for discussion, Im wondering if rt_daytona is the 1st time we've tried using "time advance"?? Sol or CSP one is responsible for time cycle and the other is responsible for weather variations. If he's still having issues, we should load the server w/o any weather or time advance and see if that allows him to join? (Again, we may of already tried that, just wondering out loud)
Ok, I just tried to get online, and got "unexpected error". Wanting to make sure I have the correct track. It is the Daytona in this thread, right? I have been having some intermittent internet issues (appears to be a Windows 10 or wifi adapter problem), but right this minute I think I may be okay if I can get by whatever this problem is. Trae is busy, and it's getting late tonight. If anyone has any ideas, let me know here and I'll try to sort it out tomorrow evening. Thanks in advance for all you guys patience and help!Waiting to hear from John, so far as planned but we'll see I suppose
Another sweet lookin Vette out of the @Highbank paint booth! I mean..
@PGMurphy Paul, if you didn't already know, Bill usually has the server up 24/7 for the upcoming race, if you want to shake it down! There's also the Zoom Live Timing so you can take a peek and see who else has turned laps or if anyone is currently on.. (Most of us don't use Discord when we're on practicing, but you never know. Always worth a check)
In the setup screen, once you enter the server (or an offline race) It's the wrench icon where you make setup adjustments.. The last entry is pit strategy. You can do 3 different scenarios. But you can only change "tire type, fuel amount, air pressure" All other setup adjustments will remain the same. Don't think there's a way to change those once a race starts. Also, is there currently a way to create a pit strategy for online races within AC's features? Or is there a third-party app that will do that? Or do we just make the choices on the fly as we enter the pits?
