Thanks for the good thoughts from everyone. I'll be fine....soreness will go away and the "air bag" burns are just some skin abrasions....a bit painful, but they will heal fast. My wife was with me, and other than a couple of bruises from the air bags, she's fine also. I'll say one thing....if you've never been in a car when the air bags go, well....it's interesting to say the least....but the things do the job they are designed to do.
Unfortunately, I fear that my Chevy truck is totaled. I bought it new in 2005....it's been very well maintained, and still looked great...even had new tires (less than 1000 miles)....but with the truck being that old, I'm sure I'm going to take it up the rear from the guy's insurance company. My guess is they will probably offer about 1/2 of what it will cost me to buy something as nice as mine. I guess I'm expecting the worst....I haven't heard from them yet....but I'm pretty sure it's a total, and the Acura that I hit was REALLY messed up! Dude just simply turned right in front of me....I had nowhere to go, and no time to stop. Just not a good day for me......

OK, I will be heading up to Idaho again, an emergency deal for my kids...The plan is to leave on Tuesday the 6th and come back Saturday the 9th...BUT I have a feeling it may be extended to include a trip to Show Low Az to see my wife's Mum...I hope to race this Monday night though, it'll be better than ducking behind furniture looking out for illegal fireworks from our local barrio...INCOMING!
If we don't go to Show Low on this trip, we'll be heading that way before the end of the month.
So, I'm thinking of putting up something different for this week and next, something more like what we may run as the next actual series. (I'm still trying to get the Mario Karts mod to work )
