Blitz, just stay put, no reason for everyone to start changing cars...we'll never get this off the ground if we start swapping cars.
Bottom line is, we're never going to really make this thing "equal" until (this is a fantasy, I know!) we all run the same car, and that car can be "de-tuned" for the faster drivers, or "tuned up" for the slower ones, for BOP. Even then, it won't be "equal". In reality, even now, it wouldn't matter how equal the cars are....the biggest difference between us is the ability to keep the car on the asphalt! We've proven that with the Mazdas.

Even in IMSA today, the BOP is a big argument...with Porsche (damn crybabies!) whining about not having a level playing field, and withdrawing cars from races. (they have a history of that, by the way....look back to when the C4 Corvette was released in the 80s)

So, we don't need to create a bigger workload for @Highbank Bill or anyone else who is painting these cars. I think, deep down, we all know our "place" in this group. Occasionally I, myself, will have a good day and be competitive, but I know the reality of what will happen in the end. We're here to have fun, enjoy each other's company, give and receive some "smack talk", and like @ZiggyM Ziggy said, unwind from everyday life.

My only suggestion would be to consider slower cars in the future, and run shorter layouts, just to keep the group in contact with each other more. Running with someone is always much more fun!

Of course, this is all just my honest opinion. Agree or disagree as you wish!

That is why...that being what John and Andy said about the relationships, I now call it Zoom Racing Community, that to me has always been the most important element of this...I'm not fast, I suck if truth be spoken, but I do enjoy it when Mick laps me, we play a little he giggles (I love that) then I let him go... I haven't needed to win in a long, long time, (ya I did win once upon a time) but I want to have fun with my Fun Bunch.

I slept through both of my classes today, never happened before. Luckily I didn’t miss anything
I would have dropped this a long time ago if I wanted totally serious racing, I'm about 70/30 on that...does that make sense?

I agree with Ziggy and everyone that this is as much or more for having Fun with each other. which is why I came here, was looking for something close to the community and people that were in the good sized group I hung with in the MCO days and through NR2003. It all dissolved once the games kind of did and other things happened to who was running our group.

Anyway, this is as close as I got coming here by far. Finally an equal!
`6` Great bunch of people You Guys!

I, with my darn anxiety and all just need a carrot to focus my energy on or else I burn out hard, not by choice... My anxiety n all start punching me. Kinda like having an amplifier cranked up, then you pull the speaker wires and the power has nowhere to go and it tries to fry the output transistors LOL. Older circuitry that could happen, newer stuff, especially the Amp module chips have Open circuit, Short-circuit and Thermal protection and all. Anyway, this is not an electronics course LOL. Yeah I would rather Chat with you guys in Discord than drive the track alone. :)
:)
I just need to not let my frustration with life get in the way of this fun, I have been trying.

You guys are cool, Bill does a great job at making a fun situation! Thanks!!!
Stay well Guys!
