It is a good choice, started with a wet track that eventually dried out. Have got to learn how to set up a car in this game. this is stock

@Highbank Found a few settings that we recommend. Not sure if you set it up with the interface that's in AMS2 (Multiplayer) or if you have an external server program (.ini) you use?? But setting it up -within- AMS2, after you get on the server, we need:
Session Settings - Rules and Regulations:
Rules and Penalties - on
Track Limits -on
Limit Warnings - 5
Pit exit penalty - off
Multiplayer ratings - ?? (up to you)
Session Settings - Session settings:
Edit practice session - Edit Duration - 20minutes
Race Settings - Number of Laps -15
Session Settings - Realism Settings:
Allow ghost vehicles - no
Force Manual Pitstops - yes
Pit Stop Errors - no
Force Cooldown Lap - yes
I think most of the other settings are good with the defaults. There's probably more but those are the ones we found tonight. I'll jump on tomorrow morning if I see anyone around and we can test some more..

I might hop on later tonight. I just finished a 20 page paper about college, debt, my future goals, and student loans. Technically it was supposed to be worked on over the entire semester, but the procrastinator in me decided I could get it done in three days.

Hey Andy, have you given any thought about not going to college but instead a trade school, college in my opinion is a big waste of money and debt you could do without. A good accredited trade school would be a much better option than 4 years of indoctrination.

If ya'll haven't been on track with other cars, you need to experience it! The graphics are incredible and all the effect are "dynamic" so if someone clips a wall you see the dust/debris. If the track is wet you get spray on your windshield from the car ahead. If they drop a body part, you can see/hit it, etc. Huge fun! They just need to improve the multiplayer interface so it's a little easier to navigate and monitor.

My leg is a bit funky hurts when I apply pressure to that throttle thing, But I may be anyway just won't be doing a lot of driving

Still trying to figure out some of the details, like getting damage fixed.. Normally it fixes the damage (By either clicking "return to pit" or just entering the pits and letting them fix it) but the hood/bumpers/paint are still banged up. Which is realistic! But then, every once in a while, it'll give you a fresh -new- car? Haven't figured out how to make that happen yet. Possibly by moving from your pit stall and just stopping and getting the "dq for lack of progress" (or whatever that message is.) Then getting back in the car? Still not sure though. Ran out of testing time..
* I left my car parked in the pits on the server. Practice is set for 24 hours. I think if someone stays on the server it'll keep track of anyone else who logs in and runs laps? But I don't see an option to advance the session, so I guess if we want to qual/race we'll need to exit and re-setup the server? Little stuff like that is what is lacking in this sim..

Doing stuff around the house today maybe tonight hopefully, I have been dying to try with a few people on

Every update things get better and better, from what I've heard and read the multiplayer is going to get huge improvements, small updates come up to 3 times a week and big updates come about one or twice a month, so things are always changing.
Reiza didn't stop updating AMS 1(Feb 29, 2016) until the month after AMS 2(Mar 31, 2020) came out, if that shows you the commitment they have towards their sims.
