WinMip2 help please

I've been at this for hours and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get this program running. I'm not exactly a pro at doing command prompts and all those sorts of things so if someone could walk me through this I would appreciate it. I have the .dll and .ocx files in the same folder as WinMip2 but it's telling me the .ocx is "not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid" ?? Not sure what to do from here

Right click on your winmip exe go to compatibility. In the compatibility mode check the box and in the drop down box look for windows xp sp3 then hit apply then ok. Start Winmip it should work
