Help.
The "priority" compressor scale seems to have no effect for me.
Input parameters
- 2048x2048 car texture
- 1024x1024 pit texture
- 24-bit compr. or 24-bit export option
Export .car file size
- 3.33 MB or 20 MB, respectively
Additional info
- Windows 7, 64-bit
- Running WinMip2 with Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility and in administrator mode
My goal
- target a 2 MB .car file size
- do not reduce size of textures (i.e. 1024x1024 car)
- do not reduce color to 16-bit
Regardless of what priority number I set on the slider, or the size of imported images (bmp or tga), the export file sizes are always the same as listed above. Is this normal? Anyone else experience this issue and discover a solution or workaround?
