Responses on the performance of the new OS seems mixed, it may just be the type/speed of the computer that determines the game's handling of it

I found that it all depends on type/speed of the computer from the response by Angus. The Youtube video "This can't be the end for NR2003" was posted 5 months ago. A few things I did to name a few that increased performance. For my configuration the game runs great on a Dell i7.

Did you install all the necessary patches including Compatibility Mode. I installed Windows 11 about a year ago and NR2003 works fine with no issues. With the NO-CD patch I set the Compatibility Mode to Windows 7. My understanding is that the NO-CD patch was made for Windows 7. You can also reference this youtube video which helped me quite a bit.

I got windows 11 and compatibility for windows 7. Once in a blue moon I will have a crash and that is always in single race mode and only at a certain track like the early access Roval or the Daytona road course. Probably not your compatibility, what else have you done recently, what pc and card?

I had some crashes to desktop once in a while. I had to stop some processes in task scheduler not needed which helped quite a bit. I still get a random crash which I think it also may has something to do with Video card or sound card

Right ok, so that would be something like I have happen which is very rare, for instance I tried the original Papyrus track in single race mode and that crashed not too long ago, so even with a new comp with a great card it seems to happen, did it with an external CD drive also before I switched to no cd.

The only problem i have is that when i go to "player info" (Specifically with the FRCD22 mod) it crashes and stops running. What i can do in this case?

Is your car more than 3mb. Thought I read somewhere the game could crash with cars more than 3mb. I compressed all of my cars and haven't crashed in a while. That said I'm not sure that's your issue. I'm still running Win10 2H22.
