Which version of 3D Max to use

I started out years ago using 3D Max 8 and 9 and then didn't have the time to keep up with the SIM community. I am getting back into it and have access to several of the new versions. I noticed when version 17 the mappings were off. I was able to correct that in some cases. So all you heavy users out there, which version is the best to use now?

I use 2013, have 2018 but don't use it very much.

No. Only 3dsmax 8 works with the .pas export.

Max 5, Max 6 And Max 7 do also and I think Max4.5 If you can find a copy of them they works with the .pas export.

Max 8 is the normal version to use, basicaly any modder uses max 8 for nr2003.

I use 3DS Max 5 and 2016.

i use 3dsmax 16 but i know 2018 and 2019 export the .pas format
