OK so I got R Factor, Assetto Corsa, and Project Cars 2, so what are the must haves for these games as I am really unfamiliar with all of them. I know they are all different as far as what you can and can't do as for as mods and skins and how to get them in the game so any advice is totally appreciated. also getting the most out of the settings and wheel. I have a G27.

I just got Asseto Corsa, and literally just did a google search for "assetto corsa mods" and found a ton of stuff.

I did that to for all of them but there are alot that aren't complete or dont have working AI or missing elements that's why I was asking what are the goto mods hopefully save some aggravation and time

You guys need to get "content manager" for ac, makes life a lot easier, then get the "sol" app to go along with it. Check the Zoom online thread for more info on sol if memory serves me correctly.

If you can by the AC Content manager it has more than just the free version and then get the Shaders light patch and SOL

Thanks guys, I got content manager, custom shaders patch and sol installed and working in AC. been mostly playing AC, done a few races in PC2 but i like the abundance of Mods for AC between the cars and tracks is really alot of fun, Having really only raced the NR games its amazing how much of a blast they are to drive. I have to look into the Crew Chief mod seems really cool.
Having some fun at Daytona in the Heavy Rain. (too bad the rain is only visible from the cockpit view)

Content Manager makes Assetto Corsa the best sim out there, speaking strictly from an ease of use standpoint...rFactor 2 reigns as the best true simulator out there, though the content is less complete and some of it shows the shortcomings from the early days of the sim.

I saw you have AC GT3 racing in the online section, what day and time are the races? Also what is the procedure to race online from this game. I see there is a online tab with a bunch of servers. Would the zoom server be listed there or is it like NR where you have to connect to a particular server?

It's a Zoom Racing World series so you would need to select the Zoom GT3 server on the server list in the "Online" section in Content Manager.

But let me back-up...

Do you have Team Speak 3 installed? I can talk you through this better on TeamSpeak rather than typing it out if you know what I mean.

I should add we require a headset and Teamspeak so we can better communicate while on track and it reduces a lot of issues that crop up without that instant communication.

I don't have team speak 3 installed, I will have to do that as far as a head set I think I have one if not I will borrow my sons.
It's been a few years since I have raced online but definitely interested in getting back into it. And I definitely know what you mean about talking vs typing, lol

OK so i just downloaded this endurance pack.

American Endurance Pack - The Rollovers

the file structure was different than most mods I have downloaded and could not be done through content manager. I put the cars into the car folder but the was also an extension folder which had sub-folders including one the was mods I didn't have that folder and copied it into the extension/cars folder. i am getting these orange ! symbols near some of the cars in the pack but not all.
the cars seem to load in game

Edit: So after some google searches and looking into content manager they all turn out to be missing livery .PNG's which is the little box with the number top left in pic. it seems i can fix this in content manager.
