Anyone have Paint Shop Pro 2018? After using Paint Shop Pro 9 for many computers and many years I guess I've gotten all of the mileage that I can from it. I recently bought a new laptop with Windows 10 installed and I just can't find any compatibility setting at all that will work with PSP 9.

PSP2018 is on sale for $39 at the moment. Thinking about giving it a try as I really need some kind of paint program. Thought I would ask here first and see what some of you might have to say.

That what I have, I like it, seems easier for me than PS5, I've had PSP for a long long time, started way before x3, so, I give it a good score.

Just never learned how to manipulate all the tools and things very well. PSP is pretty much straight forward to me.

I also use PSP9, the only program I have ever used. Tried Adobe Photoshop CS5 and found it very confusing vs PSP9.

I'm getting that update ad for the 2018 PSP a lot now. Thinking about it...

I've used PSP since, I think PSPv3 I've upgraded several times, I'm using PSP X9 now and I remain happy with it. I use CS6 for some sims templates just because they have that different layering system that doesn't completely open in PSP...

I also use PSD for working with .dds files since I can't seem to get that NVidea dds program to work with PSP...

I use the X7 version, which should have been the last one released before 2018. There wouldn't be much difference, just a few new things in the 2018 version. It's worked well for me over the years to use PSP instead of Photoshop.

I downloaded the demo. Mostly familiar to what I've used before. Probably go ahead and buy the full version as I do need a graphics program for lot of stuff I do.

Thanks for the input.

I switched to photoshop after psp 9 being the last psp version I used. Photoshop pen tool is the biggest challenge to get used to, but worth the time. I started painting using psp for many years.
