Rinne 's coming home strong. That implies that they've got that budgie sort out now.
FinnSport is a team that is almost bursting with talent. They have Armo Pekkanen, Lea Rinne, and Osku Nikula. FinnSport is allegedly looking for a new driver to replace Nikula due to his poor performance.

Pretty big announcement from AutoNordics:

"We are extremely honored to have a business such as Kyran Engineering sponsor all of our cars and we hope this is the beginning of a long standing relationship between us" announced Asbjørn Kristiansen as they unveiled the pretty basic sponsoring of their cars.

We head down to Watkin's Glen to kick off Race 13! Lea Rinne would start on pole. Réka Balogh and Earl Senior would pull into the pits early.53901
53902

Sean Hale would start off his ICRL debut by going on a bit of an offroad adventure!

53903

The next lap, Jenaro Rodríguez would create a big kerfuffle in front of Janine Kopp and Eetu Mustonen, with Osku Nikula getting a piece of it.

53904

The track was slick from early morning rain and some cars would throw their race away in the corner following the inner loop.

Nikula and O'Doyle bin it with Parriss.
53905

Agnethe Robertsen and Eetu Mustonen join in on the party.

53906

Wyrick and Sean Hale would bin it.

53907
53908

By the time this was settled out by around lap 3, Alexandra Frank would lap Jørn Jespersen.

53909

Earl Senior pushes Heli Laukkanen and Justin Parriss into the wall.

53910

Gregg Banks and Rodrigo Catalán would send each other into the wall.

53911

Someone having an abnormally good day was Stefan Gorecki who was running in 17th at the time.

53912

Nico Küchler and Leo Tucker got together, resulting in Küchler getting flipped.

53913
53914

Speaking of getting together, on lap 26, Alexandra Frank would choke the race by trying to get by Theresia Baardwijk, throwing them both into the wall.
53915

Capitalizing off of this would be Lea Rinne who made a pretty cool pass by catching some air.

53916
53917

After pit stops, Harold Lambert would lead with Marc Petit behind him.

53918

Another person who was doing abnormally well was Ligia Quiñones in 19th, and Jørn Jespersen made his way up to 16th.

53919
53920

While all of this was going on, Harold Lambert would go on to win at Watkin's Glen!

Open the tga files with your paint program and convert them to jpg or png. Or you can go online and use a tga to png/jpg converter. Or if you already knew that and were just pointing out that the tga files aren't that great then you can just ignore my post completely.

Sorry for the wait! Here's the highlights from Kam Valley!

Harold Lambert starts on pole, with Truls Eriksen to his inside. However, Eriksen would have to go into the pits early and give Darek Sitko the position.

54030

Kam Valley is a pretty wide track, so the cars would quickly fan out! You can see the Kyran Engineering sponsorships on the AutoNordics cars.
54031

Marc Petit would take a quick advantage over Lea Rinne.

54032

Nico Küchler slams his car into the wall.

54033

Harold Lambert would continue leading with a fierce battle between Marc Petit and Lea Rinne behind him.

54034

AutoNordics would not get off to a good start, having all three of their cars in the back.

54035

A scary crash would occur when development driver Sean Hale takes himself and Ai Chow hard into the wall! Ai Chow would be okay, but her car would take a trip to the scrap yard.

54036

Alexandra Frank spins into the wall.

54037

Heli Laukkanen would do the same thing, along with Houk.

54038

Things would get a bit worse for AutoNordics, as Jørn Jespersen, Stefan Gorecki, and Toni Reyer would have a little off-road expedition.

54039

Marc Petit would get past Rinne and start chasing down Harold Lambert.

54040

Lea Rinne slipped pretty far back, to the point that Mieczysław Wyrick passed her for third.

54041

Alfred Niemec would not get the start he wanted as he would be stuck behind the damaged car of Frida Antonsen.

54042

Petit passes Lambert!

54043

Eetu Mustonen is having a pretty good day, running in 15th.

54044

AutoNordic's day would go from bad to slightly more bad as Sherri Wade would slam straight into the back of Agnethe Robertsen. Wade would get called to the hauler for her ARCA brakes.

54045

Another person having a great day is Ligia Quiñones! At the time, she was running 16th. Rumor has it that she may have some sponsors from Mexican computer company Unitron.

54046

Petit would extend his lead from Lambert.

54047

Crowd favorite Gregg Banks is having a great day by his standards running in 11th! Banks Family Racing hasn't been known for their great finishes, but they do have a couple of wins under their belt from the sheer experience that Gregg Banks has.

54048

After the first round of pit stops, Wyrick leads!

54049

Harold Lambert makes a diving move to get past Petit!

54050

Lea Rinne falls behind Alfred Niemec, not what she needed for the championship.

54051

In the following corners however, Rinne would pass Niemec!

54052

One of the more heated battles near the end of the race would be between Júlia Juhász and Rodrigo Catalán.

54053

Stefan Gorecki's car would lose power.

54054

I took so many pictures, I need to do a Part 2 post!

[Part 2]

After Harold Lambert lead coming off of the final round of pit stops, he would try to use Heli Laukkanen as a buffer between him and Marc Petit.

54055

Rumor has it that Osku Nikula may be released from his team for poor performance. After a squabble between his team and Hess Racing over number font concerns between the 90 and the 09, Hess Racing has shown interest in Nikula.

54056

Developmental driver Sean Hale holds up Lambert!

54057

An amazing day for Agnethe Robertsen as she would be running inside the top 20!

54058

Harold Lambert would go on to win at Kam Valley!

20. Theresia Barrdwijk - 1 minute 1.79 seconds behind

Top 20 in points after Kam Valley:

54065

Alfred Niemec and Marc Petit have the most realistic chance of winning. Lea Rinne essentially needs a miracle to win the championship. However, big props to Agnethe Robertsen to scoring her first points!

For the final round of ICRL season, we head over to Homestead-Miami! Truls Eriksen would start on pole.

54161

Sean Hale had a pretty good start to his race in 14th.

54162

Marc Petit would take the lead!

54163

First caution of the day would come out on lap 7. Janine Kopp straight up dumps Sherri Wade and Esmée Houk gets involved. Marc Petit would restart first.

54164
54165

Eetu Mustonen would have a problem and came into the pits early.

54166

Alfred Niemec would not get the start he wanted. He would be relegated back to 20th and would have to work his way back up the field.

54167

Caution 2 came out on lap 42. Dani Saylor takes out Rodrigo Catalán and Earl Senior. Truls Eriksen restarts on top.

54168
54169

Some drivers thought it was a good idea to fan out very wide at Homestead-Miami. The same lap people realize that it isn't a good idea. Justin Parriss hooks Ai Chow and takes Eetu Mustonen and Heli Laukkanen with him.

54170
54171
54172

Sean Hale would have a mechanical problem and would have to drop out. Truls Eriksen would once again restart in first. Alfred Niemec would get shuffled to the back along with Marc Petit.

54173
54174
54175

Gregg Banks was having a good day and forces a three wide situation with Kevan O'Doyle and Natali Shvets.

54176

Wyrick passes Rinne and Eriksen for the lead.

54177

Sherri Wade holds up Treasa Kavanah and Alfred Niemec, allowing Marc Petit to catch up!

54178

Wyrick and Eriksen start off the first round of pits.

54179

After the pit cycle, Lea Rinne would lead but be held up by her teammate Osku Nikula. Nikula would be far nicer with Marc Petit though.

54180
54181

Lap 62 is when the third caution came out, and it was big. Not big in terms of cars, but in championship implications. Armo Pekkanen would have enough of Niemec's antics and would spin him right in front of Harold Lambert. Alfred Niemec would restart 10th and Lea Rinne would start first with Marc Petit behind.

54182
54183

The final caution would bring the race and the season to end under yellow. Truls Eriksen gets greedy and spins Stefan Gorecki right in the middle of the pack! Armo Pekkanen, Toni Reyer, and Janine Kopp would get involved. Lea Rinne would win with Marc Petit in second.

Petit has done just enough to eek out a championship. :D
This is like Lee Petty in '58 - steady results accumulates to a well deserved win.
