Seeing dirt and grass on your tyres for the fist time is mind blowing, but since the car is so hard to control I really don't "see" them, I'm concentrating on not killing the car.

TOCA Race Driver 3 had that back in 2006 and it was a big thing when compared to other racing games and sims back then to actually see dirt build up on the tyres when you happened to go off track and then have it wear off over time.

I remember playing the original Forza for the first time and scraping the wall coming out of a turn only to leave a nice paint scrape on the concrete barrier which was clearly visible on the next lap, not to mention the missing paint on the vehicle. That little graphical touch was bloody fabulous.

Hot "Stage:" All Star Race



Track: Charlotte 2013 Night
AI at 85%. Could barely keep up.
Laps: 84 (closest I could get)
Laps completed: about 36
Started 21st. Finished 20th.
Followed the requirements listed in my post about running the All Star race in the general Hot Lapping thread.
All Star roster taken from default MENCup18 cars.

Look at that first place winner! "Realistic simulation" my foot!

I can neither confirm nor deny that I caused a little chaos when I saw the leader about to put me a lap down, intentionally wrecking Truex.

The most recent Indy Car for rFactor I could find is the one I've had for over a year, it's the ugly 2016 car, I'm really hoping someone make the 2018 for any sim speedway and road course configurations.

My 10% done car that I started last year some time, default everything damage 100%
