screen goes black after race winner screen

after the screen that shows who won the race and the points standings and such, the screen just goes black. The game doesn't actually crash, as I have to tap my mousepad to exit the program and close it with task manager. I use reshade, so I'm wondering if this is graphical or if it's a problem with the game itself

I've had the same problem before, whenever I turn the sound off ingame it would take about a minute after the winner screen to show again. Does it do it without reshade?

I turned the sound back on and the problem was fixed. So I guess it's just a problem with the game when you turn sound off. I'm not gonna try it without reshade because I'm not going through that much trouble just to listen to music while I do a mock season. Sorry for the needless thread.
