So I spent a crazy amount of time working on a simple paint for this BTCC mod...it's a lot of fun to drive but I had to have my own car...The templates are wicked strange with no explanation notes (they're like most rFactor open wheel mods) and then trying to figure out to name the wheels and windows .dds files to get them to show...well let's just say that sometimes things aren't as simple as they perhaps could be...maybe a "read-me" with the templates would help...anyway...
So I got some things figured out enough to through some numbers a sponsor and some simple paint on the Ford Focus model...all trial and error...
So a few laps at Mid-Ohio later...
I'm driving with my keyboard (which I absolutely hate!) and the steering was touchy as were the brakes...but with a wheel I could be pretty good with these cars...
rFactor 2 is not for the squeamish as it has some pretty real physics....but for me it reacts more like I'd expect a car to act....
