idk if anyone has run into this before but I've seen a small glitch where the AI will go into pit lane but for some reason wont take fuel. they will take tires but they wont take fuel and on a big enough track will end up stopping and having to tow.

this also may not be a refueling glitch because it might be a specific track issue since it only happens on one track and its a 12 mile road course. the cars reset to pit lane and will pretty much not leave probably due to ungodly towing times.

if anyone has a possible fix for the issue or wants to see the track in question (It only happens on one track anyways) then I'll send you a link to it.

just a bit curious as to what might be causing the problem.

It's called 6-Road Lakeside and I found it looking for GTP tracks. Fictional track. even in the track readme he says something about it too where around 30 minutes into the race the cars reset to the pits and never leave after that. ive done some tests and while some cars do come out occasionally it's pretty much the whole field.

That's a track maker issue in the ini file, I would look for the AI pitting lines and copy the ones from Watkins Glen or Infineon over them, of course back up the original file before you start altering it

is that the stuff right below pit lane stuff?

[ pit_lane_0 ]
; AI stuff
merge_from_pit_line_dlong = 582.00 ; dlong at which cars leaving pits will merge to race line
merge_to_pit_line_dlong = 18767.00 ; dlong at which cars entering pits will merge to pit line
merge_to_pit_line_length = 697 ; length of merge window
pit_lane_end_dlong = 394.00 ; dlong where pit lane proper ends
pit_lane_start_dlong = 19416.00 ; dlong where pit lane proper begins
slow_pit_line_dlat_offset = 5.0 ; track-specific dlat_offset of 2nd slower pit line (0 if N/A)
stall_exit_goal_dlat_offset = -4.0 ; goal dlat offset (+ left) for the pit stall exit cubic line
stall_exit_goal_dlong_offset = 8.0 ; goal dlong offset (ahead) for the pit stall exit cubic line
begin_stall_entry_offset = 15.0 ; offset at which to begin entering the pit stall
begin_stall_approach_offset = 25.0 ; offset at which to begin approaching the pit stall
lane_merge_dlong = 570.20 ; Dlong which you must remain on the apron when exiting the pits

or is it something else since I was messing with pit stalls and all that and that was a bit of a meme. XD

There should be something about pit behavior, it's been a long time since I've messed with this stuff.
