Autodesk's 3D Studio Max, you can download a free student version from their website.
If you go to Autodesk, you can find many version requirements.

OK, so I downloaded it, and my computer is still working. LOL Hopefully it will continue to work after I start using it. Now all I got to do is figure out how!
Famous last words...."all I got to do".....go to Autodesk and youtube and watch nine thousand videos, then ask other people who have been using it for years and still learn something new every time they fire it up. GOOD LUCK

Wow! I watched a couple videos, and then downloaded some scenes from here, and viola, I made my first render! AWESOME!! My computer handled it pretty well. I am unsure about a couple small details, but for the most part, I think I got it! Thanks, guys!!
