CHAPTER ONE

Ok so I see that folks sometimes struggle with ideas for new paints...

I find many ideas as I drive around everyday... here's one:

Ideas on what to paint seem at times to be where most beginner's get blocked...you have to have some sort of goal and to have a goal you must first have inspiration....the "How" does not come first, the "What" does...

So what is your "what"?

I posted that image of the sign on that truck at the top here as an inspiration, it's cool, it's simple and the logo helps you make all the decisions about color and even composition...

It would be cool to see folks post some bases that would not only work with that logo but be driven by it...

I was thinking that logo would look awesome on the old Rusty Wallace MGD scheme. I'm a big fan of simple paint schemes, I've never much cared for these new schemes with all the swoops, swirls, and jagged lines.

Well I'm thinking let's stick with that logo up there, that way maybe folks can see the "connections" we make as we go..."hopefully"

Me neither Bill, I love schemes that are based on the sponsor logos and colors and fit tightly within those constraints...but I do get that some folks like them "swirly"
