Hello !
Today I tried to log into NRatings. I did not succeed. I then tried to get some information and
I logged into the NRatings Facebook page. I read that announcement there. I copy and paste it here.
You can find it at the following address:

Dear all,
as most of you know, I've been looking into a solution to hand over NRatings to someone else, or find a solution to reduce the monthly costs of hosting NRatings to as less as possible, and preferably nil. I had some contacts left and right to hand over the project, but in the end they didn't work out.
But, fear not, I'm pleased to say I found a solution for the latter option (hosting for free), and I will be rolling out this solution in the upcoming weeks so you might notice some downtime. In the same flow of momentum, I've decided to release the client part of NRatings as open source. It can be found here:
https://github.com/64Soft/NRatings.Client. This will also become the main site for info about NRatings and new download links and so on. As a consequence, I've also decided to shut down this Facebook support page in the near future, and would like to concentrate all discussions and questions about NRatings on the github site or the NR2003 subreddit
https://www.reddit.com/r/Nr2003/. So please keep in mind that the current site
https://tjsoft.be/nratings will be decomissioned in the near future. So you will possibly have to redownload NRatings in the future from the github site to keep using it, but that will be communicated there once a new release is ready. One thing I can already say is that you will no longer require to have enter a username/password in the application.
Also, if you're a developer and would like to enhance NRatings, feel free to make your modifications and submit a pull request. The server part, i.e. the part that actually gets the data from racing-reference.info and presents it to the NRatings client is still closed source, but that might change in the future.
Finally, I'd like to thank you all for being part of this journey for all these years, and for your support. Even though we have much more modern racing sims available nowadays, it's amazing to see the very large community still active around NR2003.'
