NR2003 Tracks: What would you recommend?

Hey people!

I've just recently reinstalled NR2003 and intend on recreating full seasons from recent years just for a bit of offline fun, and was curious as to what versions of tracks you guys would recommend?

Tracks don't have to be from a particular year, but would be nice to have to safer barriers etc included.

I'm basically looking for the communities thoughts on what the best quality tracks are and which ones provide the best quality of racing against the AI.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I'm planning on recreating the Cup schedules so would be looking mainly for the best versions of those tracks, but any information regarding recommended tracks in greatly appreciated.

As for solely road courses in my case, this is my choice of tracks which I just have prepared for my offline season. There would me many more of course, just a present choice.

Thanks for the reply, I will definitely have a look into some of those on your list.

I wouldn't worry too much about sending any just yet, I'm still waiting on my new wheel to get here, the other half told santa I'm not allowed to have it early so until Christmas I'm basically just doing research on different mods etc and downloading different skin packs etc, but I will definitely let you know if I need any help finding these tracks once I get everything set up and working correctly.

Does anyone have any opinions on the Revamped Reloaded tracks? Specifically whether the AI work well on them? ie using multiple grooves, running decent speeds, realistic pit lane entry/exit etc stuff like that?

welcome to our community and congrats for you first message. You can do a presentation here or join us in the Hot Lapping challenges, a good section to find good tracks and mods and eventually show us your performance. It's a friendly competition with no stress, your first opponent is the chrono.

Absolutely. Beer Gut Gully II, Rushmore Scenic Byway, Jackass... All great tracks that I still run quite often.

Dan - here is my 2 cents, I enjoy the tracks already in the game, there are a few updated ones like Degs repaved, New Homestead and Martinsville tracks and don't forget the Kentucky track. For me to make the racing competitive get the Al comp cars strength as high as you can but to make in competitive and fun for you. I also like running the pit stop frequency at X2 and running a race around 40 to 60 precent laps.

Must have all the default tracks, honestly if you're running off-line that's all you need bar the Homestead track and Kentucky, 90% of the stuff out there are just eye candy changes and the AI on the default tracks run more like the current package then you would believe.

Also the Brian Ring tracks are a hoot as well. I also try and get a solid version of the tracks from the Busch and Truck series, as well as EA fantasy tracks if available(I always have had a soft spot for the EA games)
