I am getting ready to upgrade my station and going all out... Here is a site that I find very helpful. If you don't know how to build a pc, there are some great videos on youtube that will help you out. It's a good way to save some money and really get a beast of a computer!

I bought my Win10 dual core for $50 off a guy on Facebook, they only thing I need to do desperately is upgrade the video card, other then that it does everything I need it to do.

If you're looking to get a PC for NR2003 or iRacing, you can build one for well under 500 bucks. That PCPartPicker link above is useful.

When doing the pricewatch, look at a lot of the places that do rebates or money back (newegg does it)...and don't be afraid to order in multiple shipments where you can use some of those mail in rebates.

AMD is typically a little cheaper, but run a bit hotter.
Do you play other games? I'll look in a bit and throw together a hypothetical build for you. Are there pieces you have you don't need to replace (like you should be able to transfer windows, do you have a solid power supply, etc)

So I'm making a few assumptions

    1. You have a hard drive you can use
    2. You have a copy of windows you can use/transfer
    3. You have a PC tower you can use
    4. You have a viable power supply

    https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FZvPxG

That list gets you a solid setup for racing, more than you'd need but you could also do some other casual gaming. I did not include a cooler, but you can get those for next to nothing.

There are literally a million build combinations. I slapped this together quickly...so I am sure you could probably go down on the CPU, MOBO and GPU.
