Welp just had my last day at my job that I did contract work for over 11 years of. It feels weird and hasn't fully sunk in that its truly over. I'm glad to be done with it though, I was in the game industry and now I will just be a regular gamer like everyone else once again. I'm looking forward to my new job though in a different field, a real career that pays a salary and all the other great benefits. Get to enjoy a few days before I start that though so I can rest and remnisce over all the past years and memories ...

(can't wait until the day I can retire though, then I can make mods for games full time like I've always wanted to lol)

Oh I will 'work' but I'll be super busy with my hobbies. Unfortunately for a lot of people they are afraid of retiring and wouldn't know what to do without a job or the job is their 'purpose' in life but exact opposite for me. I'm gunna be plenty entertained and busy. My Dad is retired for example and is loving it so I know what to expect when I can finally get to that stage in my life too.
