^ Not to mention that the car is not balanced. All of the balance is in the left side of the cars (which is a part of why the tires don't get heat evenly across the tires), which in turn is why the tires don't get full grip in a wet environment. Indycar will also put rain tires on cars on road courses, but not ovals.

The only time you'll see Rain Tires on an Oval is Daytona, but thats the 24 Hours of Daytona, they're using the road course bit as well.

So yeah, NASCAR is fully aware that Rain tiresexist, but they aren't gonna use them on an oval, because they aren't stupid.

It's 2019.

If an engineer was able to figure out a tire compound, to be able to displace water in such time, that keeps the car not only to grip the road and remain stable enough to keep grip to the road, prevent it from hydroplaning, and last long enough to run a 500 mile event?

They'd have figured it out.

It ain't happening, and no one is going to waste time and money on Oval Rain tires. It's stupid. It's illogical. It's impossible.

Dear Woolworths and Coles,
I know that you want to sell lollies and are trying desperately to make Halloween a thing in Australia but Astronomical Twilight isn't until 9 minutes to 9pm in Sydney. Kids are still walking around while the sun is still up.

Woolworths is the 7th biggest company in Australia, with 995 stores and is worth about AUD 46 billion.

Woolworths and Coles are the two big supermarket chains, with Aldi as number 3, then IGA.

ELI5:
What is Velveeta?

We do not have Velveeta in Australia; so recipes for that kind of Mac & Cheese do not work.

Is Velveeta closer to something like Kraft Cheese Spread or Blue Box Cheddar?

If you could make cheese into jello, it would be velveeta. It's made to melt into cheese sauce easily in the oven or microwave.

If anyone has been looking for an alternative to adobe and their subscription based service I highly recommend affinity photo and designer. Their site is having a 30% off sale right now. The programs usually cost $50 each and are now only like $30. Its a perpetual license too so unlike Adobe once you buy this you never have to pay again.

I used to be a massive fan of Adobe products but made the switch to Affinity a few years ago and haven't been happier.

Can you create vector logos with it? My biggest hangup with photoshop is you need a separate program to do vector stuff (for the most part) and I've been trying to create stuff my department, which has been a little difficult to get from computer to print without vector.

Affinity Photo is similar to photoshop but it does have a lot better non-destructive methods with layers. One of my favorite things is nothing is rasterized until you tell that layer to be. So for example, if I import a jpg I can resize it over and over and it won't destroy the quality. I have to raster it then if I resize it would act like any non-smart photoshop layer.

Affinity Designer is similar to illustrator and is all about vector logo creation.

Both programs compliment eachother, as far as Affinity Photo goes yes you can create vector images and export them as SVG for example. Designer is just a more robust toolset for straight up vector options but the photo programs can still do decent.

If you are unsure about the programs I think they let you trial run them. You could then see if they have the tools you need.
