The single car Chrysler entry of Zhang Race Team will be driven by Alex Ellis, a native of the Philippines who's looking to find stability in the economy class after seemingly falling out of contention for a notable ride. The 29 year old has work to do to get back on the radar, but may not even be as interested in making it to the top anymore. What does this season and beyond have in store for the #59?

The World Tour has a lot of American drivers, but none are more prolific currently than Luther Miller, a 30 year old former champion of the series who's currently leading the MMG Motorsports Volvo outlet. He's been by far the best of the Volvos, who've had some challenges in the last season, but remains loyal to the team, and seems to believe he could put them in the world title hunt again this season.

We've got the final four cars to reveal for the World Tour, one left in each class! The next few days will see the last drivers from each of the Tour's four divisions.

21-JimmyRichardson-TR-render.png

The Tribute Car Division's most prolific driver, and the defending champion, is 30 year old Jimmy Richardson. The head of American All Stars, the #21 has been a staple of the Division, thanks to Richardson's intent to be a lifer in the division. This has even affected the whole series, with many of the younger drivers going to the Electric Car Division to have a better title chance compared to the veterans of Richardson and Abhi Khamavant. Jimmy is the name at the top of the division's ticket. Don't wear it out.

11-MilanaKovac-EL-render.pngOur last driver in the Electirc Car Division, Malina Kovac is the one and only Serbian driver on the tour, and a strong one at that. The 22 year old is expected to be a title contender in her sophomore season in the Electric Car Division, and if she can live up to that, she'll really be the next big thing. Can she take on her teammate Pat Jaeger and take the title this year?

The final car in the Samsung Economy Division belongs to one of the biggest underdogs, Japan's Toshi Yagawa and the single car CANNON Racing team. The 24 year old hasn't done a lot on his way up the tour's ladder, but the driver and team have a lot of love for each other and want to capitalize on that. Will this underdog be able to stun the tour this year?

Tune in tomorrow for the final of our 52 drivers, then it'll be time for a final preview and the carset release!

reading your narrative's on the drivers has really made me want to download the carsets and run series off of them. Never have run a fictional series yet (ie....no real drivers) but this will be fun I think. Especially with the drivers already being rated based on the back stories.

And 52 cars later, this is finally it, the last reveal for the World Tour!

Fiedler Racing Audi's lineup rounds out with the 30 year old Australian, Hunter Rougemont. While less of a factor than his teammates in Blackwood and Osterhagen, Rougemont has proven to be a reliable finisher and multi time winner, and seems to have his seat secured for years to come. That said, with him for sure being the lowest performing of the three, there's pressure on him to step up. Is it time to prove he's not an inferior driver?

Tomorrow I'll have a recap and a full carset preview ahead of information for release!

No.
The fourth track is the Calder Park road course. All four will be on the suggested 'canon' schedule included in the text doc.

ie... Calder Park.

The big roundy thing is the Thunderdome.

If you're talking about "road courses" in Oz, everyone would wonder if you've got roos loose in the top paddock.

WHat is the Point System of the WTRC
I elected not to include a suggested points system this time, primarily because of the differing amount of cars in each race, especially for races where the weekend is split up due to track size. I'd encourage people to either adapt an IMSA system or see what they can come up with!

I think a WEC System is better because all the class have the same point system and ths IMSA is the all the car

It's been a week and a half since the World Tour carset was released, and we're approaching 100 downloads. Thank you for all the support here with this carset and others! I'd love to see your creations and races for what you do with the tour, including the #JoinTheTour tag.

As for what's next for me, it'll be a little more of a break until the next project than my previous gaps, because of a combination of a non racing design project I'm currently doing, as well as moving back in to another year of college soon. However, my next project has already been decided, and is set to be my most detailed yet, and I even have a couple backup ideas floating around if I ultimately decide it's too much. As for what happens before then, however, I do have a smaller thing to announce. I'm currently working on an update for the original NAPARL sets that will feature an updated, more fair rating system, as well as painted pit boxes. I'm looking into other possible additions as well to put more life into them. I plan to update the World Tour and possibly IGPA with pit boxes as well, though ratings adjustments and other additions are still to be determined.

I'm excited to inject some more life into my previous work as we look toward my next project in this series, which will be unlike anything I've ever seen for NR2003! And I mean that even more than I did for the tour.

Stay tuned, we'll have some more information about the NAPARL carset updates soon!
