The most prolific young gun on the tour is the U.S.'s Danny Levi, a 26 year old who's now with Scuderia ForzaBlu in the High Power Division. He's looking to become one of the youngest champions ever, as he's already proven he could become a contender if things go his way. The #00 has quite the bold look this year, thanks to HBO's sponsorship adding HBO Max to the package, creating this one of a kind gradient-heavy livery.

Jiang Hao, a native of Taiwan, is one of the top female drivers on the tour, being a contender for Economy Class Wins with Team Al Castro. The aggressive driver wants to win the division championship this year to secure an awaited move into the High Power Division, and she has the momentum on her side. Will it carry over this season?

The Tour's newest High Power Division entry, the single car Spanish team of Sarabia Autosport, has brought on Mexico's Javier Velasco to drive. The 27 year old underdog has made his way up the ladder steadily, and has shown potential despite not being as notable as some of the other young guns. Is a unique change of setting what he needs to prove he's a steal? The team is certainly off to a good start with their new sponsor, and a futuristic paint scheme.

Leon Lucio is a 33 year old American driving in the Tribute Car Division, being the lead driver for Project Wolverine. A former champion of the Division, he's a late bloomer who seems satisfied racing in the division, and is looking for a second title in this black, white, and mint machine.

Justine Mathieu may be only 24 years old, but she's already entering her second season in the Economy Division with Leland Kemp Racing, looking for class wins and a title to continue moving up. The French driver has seemingly become the primary driver on the team heading into the season, but will continued growth back it up? And if she does continue to put on a show, will she leave to move up at the end of the year?

We've met a few female drivers so far on the tour, but none are more notable and successful currently than Scotland's Ivy Blackwood. The 27 year old has picked up a few wins in the last few years, and finished 3rd in both of the last two seasons' standings. Can the leader of the Audi program of Fiedler International Racing bring herself to the top of the food chain this time around?

44LouisShah-Mellor-EC-render.pngOne of two African drivers on the tour, Louis Shah-Mellor is a native of Rwanda who's overcome the odds to reach this point, and continues to move up the ladder as he signs a deal with NM Autosport Renault. A bit of a late bloomer who wants to continue to move up, the 27 year old wants to go for class wins to make it to the High Power level of the series as soon as possible. Is he ready to prove he's up to the level of the rest of this team?

Bradley Palmer is an up and comer from the UK that's entering his first season on the World Tour, joining Porsche Electric Performance. There's a lot of unknowns with him, and it's unlikely he'll make a ton of noise, but in a division of only seven drivers, there's always room to surprise, especially with Porsche having a bit of an edge currently.

125CharlieRouse-TR-render.pngMitsubishi Moon's lineup in the Tribute Car Division is rounded out with Australia's Charlie Rouse, a 29 year old journeyman on the tour. There were some questions if he would even retain this seat, but with a new sponsorship deal from Current Banking, he's brought back for another year, and he's looking to prove he's worthy of a longer term deal as he focuses on the lower classes.

One of the most experienced drivers on the tour, 43 year old Ralph Jacobs is close to putting a close to his career. He's considered by some to be the best driver to never win a championship, and it seems highly unlikely he can get one thanks to his recent move to Mammoth Engineering, where he's trying to be a veteran presence and is expected to join the team's management when he retires. Will this be his final season? He's been quiet about it, but with him having little to prove and worse results than the rest of his career, it's certainly a possibilty. However, he'll be quick to make it clear it's all on his own terms, and he's in it to help this team improve into a British powerhouse.

30EthanO'Sullivan-EC-render.png

Ethan O'Sullivan of Northern Ireland is a driver who had a very hot start to his career, but wasn't quite able to cut it in the High Power Division. Despite that, he's proven his talent in the past, leading to his return to the Economy Division a year ago, which has now turned him into a class title contender. As the 31 year old returns for another season in the powerhouse Danil Subaru team, is he ready to win a title and prove he still has it?

(As a side note for those who care, I am aware of the divisiveness of the unofficial Northern Irish 'flag.' I chose to use it in the display since it is used for most international sporting competitions, so it would likely be recognized as a separate flag in this scenario.)

The 21 year old Californian Luna Waters is about to enter her second season on the tour driving for the American All Stars. After an impressive, though winless debut campaign, she looks like she could be a future star on the tour in the future, but she needs to prove her potential here and now. Does she have what it'll take?

There are five Japanese drivers on the tour today, but none have more success or potential than Kauru Aoki, a 29 year old entering another season with his hometown team Nissan Performance International. A multi time winner in his class on the tour, Aoki is aiming to become a title contender this season. With his teammate in Leon Wolff still a title contender, he has pressure to perform at an even higher level.

Maddeline Laforest is another up and coming female driver, making it to the Economy Class at age 23. Despite that impressive accomplishment, her signing is a bit controversial thanks to other drivers that some consider more deserving. She has, however, proven herself as a consistent driver with a lot of potential. Can she silence the critics in her debut season with the single car Lot Luvano team?

Canada's Jon Taylor Jr. is perhaps the biggest underdog in the High Power Division. Jon Taylor Sr. was a good, but not great driver on the tour years ago, giving Jr. a bit of an extra chip on his shoulder, leading to surprise that he signed with one of the worse teams in the top class instead of sticking with the economy class. As he enters his second season there, he's shown he's clean, but not much else. Is he going to be a big surprise for Max Sun Motorsports?

We're on a bit of a roll with some of the youngest drivers on the circuit, here's another, 22 year old Catherine Beach. The newest signee of Chu Racing Polestar in the Electric Car Division, Beach is a big unknown, and she could be a diamond in the rough or a quick bust for the team. With how even the class is, luck could play a factor in her fate, but she's cool under pressure and preparing to perform.

10-BenOsterhagen-HP-render.pngWe're in the home stretch of World Tour car reveals, so we're going to be seeing some big stories in the next few cars, and perhaps none can be bigger than the defending champion of the tour! Off his third championship in the High Power Division, 34 year old Ben Osterhagen looks to make it back to back as he returns to lead the Fiedler Racing Audi camp for another season. In a bit of a German rivalry with Leon Wolff, can Osterhagen continue to push ahead and earn a fourth title in 2022?

35-AndreDemeres-TR-render.png

The city-state racer, Monaco's Andre Demeres is making his debut on the tour this year, moving over from an open wheel career to pursue the tour with the single car Orlov Autosport. The new driver and entry has low expectations heading into the season, and are hardly on anyone's radar. But when you have no expectations, there's nowhere to go but up. Where will they land in their debut year?
