I'm at dover (RR track), New cup18 mod, .cup physics, track grip at 1.00, and yet I can still run the track almost full accelerator not breaking a max speed of high 160s. How do I make MY speed/acceleration fast.
*NOTE* Tape is at 60 and rear spoiler is at 50. Ride height is at minimum.

Do you have anything obstructing you pedals? I had the same issue, but I found out it was because my pedals were not being pressed all the way down.

In game, it says the pedal is maxed out. And the gearing is the 'best' its gonna get since I'm hitting 9-9500rpm right b4 the turn.

Raise the car up, you maybe dragging which will slow you down.

Honestly, we need more information, which track would help a lot, also if you can get some screen shot or a video would also be a great help.

Dover. Maxes out at 170 into Turn 1, running track like a K&N car, almost full throttle around.

I know this, but the K&N series wouldn't use cup physics, that's what's confusing me. With so many alter exes, so may altered tracks, so much altered everything thing out there and a very vague question, no one who's been involved with the sim for a long time can answer this question,

Now that I've strung all his post together, I'm guessing he's talking kilometers and not mile per hours. There would be no way he'd be able to hold the corner at Dover full throttle unless the grip level what way to high. There's a set up guide in the download section posted by me, it covers everything but gearing, I'd suggest you get that. I'm thinking your gearing is still way off tho. You can adjust all for gears at one and individually and you may have to do both. I would suggest saving your set up and reload the fast set up and writing down that gearing then reloading your set up and implanting those gear ratios and see how it goes.

What ai % strength are you running, is the problem that the field is running away from you?

Ok, so their is a lot of confusion her so let me clearify:
  • The "K&N" reference was to state that my car is running just like a real "K&N" East car, in ways of acceleration and the fact I don't have to lift for long in the turns.
  • I am referring to MPH.
  • AI Strength is not a concern since I can control that easily. Plus they are hitting 180+ before they brake for the turn.
  • The grip is a bit higher than default but that doesn't explain why my car is maxing out at 165-170 going into the turns. The car just takes waaay to long to accelerate off the turn. Traction control is off and the gas pedal is on the floor by the time I get to the turn exit.
  • The pedal in game is being shown as 'matted to the floor' (full throttle) so that isn't the issue.
  • Gearing cant be adjusted any more due to the fact I'm hitting 9K rpm into the turns. I can adjust that once I fix the acceleration speed problem. I'm running the same speed as I did in the Trucks (.cts) as a cup car (.cup).

It's the track, do a comparison to the default Dover to this version and you see the difference, your time are real, the A.I. shouldn't be hitting 180 at Dover, it's impossible. If that's the type of racing you're looking for then that's not a simulation, that's fantasy.
