    2020 Silly Season News:
    *
Although Kevin Harvick is the current regular season points leader and is tied for the most wins this season (to teammate Bubba), that's not gonna change his mind on retiring. "I've had a good run" says Harvick "Many wins, a championship, I think after this season, my time is up as a driver." He also plans on helping out at Haas Racing Development for the truck series.
*Hunter Baize will become the full-time driver of the #39 Reynolds Wrap Toyota in 2020, Baize joined Martin-McClure Racing in 2017 and is now ready to drive full-time, Jared Irvan and Chad Finchum have plans for other rides, and Amber Balcaen is although undetermined, won't return.
*Justin Fontaine and Kyle Donahue have signed a 1-year extension to stay with Niece Motorsports, Fontaine joined Niece when they merged with AM Racing earlier this season, Donahue took over full-time after his brother Kevin (who was also suppose to run the 45) took over the 42 in the Xfinity series, Niece will also be switching manufacturers from Toyota to Dodge/RAM as they also will get technical support from GMS Racing.

NOTE: John Hunter Nemechek going to Chip Ganassi doesn't affect this mock season.
