This version of the mod was release by Burnout, during the time Burnout handed the project over to SNG and with Toyota announcing the 2018 camry and stating that the 2018 camry will run in the 2017 season, the old Camry got pulled in the finished version of the mod.

Does this offer any advantage over BR 15 Gen 6?
Advantage? What kind are you speaking about? This thread we're speaking about is the alpha version of the mod. The finish product was MENCS17. MENCS17-19 was base off of the cars that got ran through out the season, and the models and Damage models was detailed. A lot of people moved on from BR Gen6 to this and sooner or later, they be moving on from the MENCS 19 mod to the new NextGen mod that is currently in the works by another group.

I think he is asking why it is important for the OP to want a finished version of the mod (meaning, the 2016 alpha version), if it is somehow better than BR15. Either way, the alpha is all we are going to get of the original version.

And given that this was 2016, then comparing like with like at the contemporary time is a fair test.

Not really, other than a better looking camry (which is why i like it) nothing much is different, there is no damage model either so
Umm Sir, their was a lot being different compared to Gen615BR. The models was built to be closely towards the cars, kinda why you never seen Fic templates for this or any of the MENCS mods by SNG. And yes, the this version of the mod didn't have a damage model because it was a ALPHA version of the mod. The finish version of the mod is consider MENCS17.
