Mod Help

Hello there, I have been trying to find a way to update my cars and schemes to a more modern realism. I have searched all over the internet to find a good tutorial on how to go about installing an up to date mod (mainly schemes) and due to my lack of knowledge of the technical side of computers, im not really finding a lot of stuff that i understand. Any help would be appreciated, and again, im sorry that im not very savvy with computers. Thank you!

Go here and download "Official NR2003 Patches." Click on and install nr2003_update_en_1000_1201.exe first, then NR2003 1201 Fix.exe next.

If there is something that confuses you, be specific. If I was going to explain how to install a mod step by step it would take me an hour just to type it. Follow the instructions on the video, pausing and rewatching if you need to. If you get stuck somewhere, explain what exactly you are stuck on, and we will try to help, then continue with the instructions in the video.

To install the 1201 patch will need the original nr2003.exe file, if you have the nocd nr2003.exe the patch will not install. I suggest going to John Norton's website and downloading the game from there. A lot of the other downloads for nr2003 that you find on the web have altered papy.ini files or nr2003.exe files. The one from John Norton's site is all the original files that came with the game. The install order is: install the game, install the 1201 patch (the 1201 patch is an exe file so all you have to do in click on it and it will install the updates needed to install mods).

Thank you guys for the help! Everything was running well until a frame rate issue caused me to follow a YouTube video on how to download things in order to have better graphics. Then my game wouldn’t even load config and I had to delete everything. Back to square one.
