MENCS19...2020 Daytona 500 Car Set Not working right

OK I downloaded this car set and am apparently doing something wrong. I unzipped all the files into my cars folder and the cars show up in the game. But the paint mapping doesn't fit the cars properly. I'm not sure what I am missing. This is afresh install of the game after being away for it for many years. There is probably something that I am forgetting to do to make it work. The cars that came with the game are all good. Only the ones from this set are not. Any ideas?

Do you have the MENCS19 mod installed, these screen shots look like the default cup cars, also, the only mod that works in the game paint shop is the original cup cars that came with the game.
In order to have other mods show up in the game is to install the 1201 patch,

Looks like you're trying to put the MENCS19 cars in the default cup series. You need to install the 1201 patch and then download and install the MENCS19 mod. When the 1201 patch is installed you will have some arrows at the bottom of the screen that let you switch between mods.

I have the patch installed but not the mod. I'll give that a shot.

@Munkey990 just a heads up: Any paint scheme you download for anything OTHER than the original cup file, will look messed up. You will have to have the corresponding mod for the corresponding paint scheme.

Installing the mod fixed it. Been away from the sim for like 10 years and I'm having to relearn some things. Thanks.
