NR2003ss003.jpg This is an updated version of the spring race at Las Vegas Kobalt 400 2017.

Updates were done by John Russell (aka "Torch-1")

1- Removed the Grandstands in turn 4 to reflect the 2017 Kobalt 400 configuration
2- Created new hill and added motor homes,cars,truck and people for turn 4
3- Updated all billboards to reflect the spring race 2017 Kobalt 400
4- Updated wall logos to reflect the spring race 2017 Kobalt 400
5- Updated grass logos to reflect the spring race 2017 Kobalt 400
6- Added new Haulers and Flagger Painted by -(John Norton)
7- Updated the Sprint Vison Trailer to be ISM Vision
8- Updated the ISM Vision Video reflect the actual footage of the spring race 2017 Kobalt 400
9- Updated victory lane to reflect the spring race 2017 Kobalt 400

Good, it's nice to see a track maker not alter a ton of files or add files to the shared folder.

My tracks are self sufficient and never need anything to be added to the shared folder. I did however alter and make many extra files for this track. Tracks when done properly there is never a need to add to the shared folder.

Your tracks are very AI capable. This means the AI can pass on the outside. Most tracks can't have that. I actually made the AI pass on the outside at your track! :) Great job!

Any sim racer worth his/her salt will agree with me.

Visually this track is beautiful.

It is completely un-raceble. The A.I. set at 100% is busting, not breaking but busting the track record by over two seconds in pratice, as for the human driver you're carrying so much speed threw the corners the whole entire car is bottoming out, this is not a set-up issue it's about the loads the car can carry and if it is a set up issue then you need to go back and fix them because I used yours. This might be fun on-line, but it is totally unrealistic. I did save the exports, but I'm sure it'll be quite easy for anyone to duplicate my finding.

As a watch track, this is fun.

As a "realistic" the AI is smashing existing lap records. Not just by .001, but a consistent +1.5-+2 seconds at 100%. Which normally at 100%. They should be close to the lap record. Not constantly shoving it around.

As a track to drive on, not so much.
I can't change my setup to work with the amount of speed I carry into the start of the corners.
The AI Blows by like its 110% when its at a 100% setting.

This will go into my Watch Races folder for sure, a great track for an offline league or something.
It's still a great track, just not so much for the hooman driver.

Outside lane works.
For those who are having AI that are too fast.
I fixed it here.
The AI go accurate speeds.
I also recommended 95% difficulty.
And the NR2017.exe

The exe is edited physics. No hardcode was changed. And real live laptimes and speeds can't match for some reason.

It was designed for online racing but if you're racing offline you could set the AI to whatever percentage you wish. As for set-ups I use my own tweaked to my driving style, I suggest the same to anyone who has raced as long as I have usually has their own set-ups.
