Hello, I am trying to run the new MENCup2017 Mod with about 23 or so custom cars, but if I optimize the track graphics (TextureSetSize set to -1), I get a horrible lag trying to run it. When I de-optimize the track graphics however (TextureSetSize set to 400000 or so), I get a perfectly smooth framerate. The car graphics look perfect either way, but I want the track to look nice as well, without the dreadful lag. When I use the cars that already come with the mod however, I can get a perfect framerate with clear graphics on the track and on the cars. I checked to see if the size of the car files were larger than those cars already in the mod, but there were about the same or lower for the most part. I'm running a Nvidia GEForce GTX 1070 graphics card. Any thoughts?

Unclick anything that has to do with solar in the graphics section of the in game settings, also unclick shadow from building while racing, you really don't need them. There are several things in this section that effect frame rate, start at the bottom right hand side and unclick one thing at a time until the stutter is gone, just leave the shadows under the cars on, the sim looks weird without them.

NR is old and dx8 is not well supported on new graphics card. You can try to apply reshade to it, as that will bring the game up to dx9.
Also make sure your car pitcrews are compressed, and small files. Also, the game wasn't made to accommodate the high res pitcrews that custom cars have, so when you do your pitcrew skins, make sure to size them down from whatever you have to 1024x1024 or lower. 512x512 will probably be the best.
