The light brown color is supposed to be tape, which some guys used at Daytona to protect the car from the beach sand. I've seen color pics of this car built as a model without the tape and blue numbers/lettering. There may have been a blue version, but I was going for the car seen here. comp22.jpg
Yikes! I may need to add more tape!

Back to an earlier project. Does anybody know of a track that runs through a trailer park?

The boys and Mr.Lahey decided racing through Sunnyvale would probably be a bad idea, so they headed over to Scotia Speedworld. The 0.30 mile, low-banked, asphalt oval in Halifax, Nova Scotia wasn't too far to go to prove who had the fastest car. Thanks again to PST for an amazing track!tpb7.jpg

Well, it's been a while but I just finished a new template layer set. It's a 1956 Olds Super 88 and this is he first car I made with it. I'll be uploading the layers real soon. The car is part of a new set I'm working on, here's a peek...

Here's a look at the 1956 Plymouth Fury I'm working on. There's still a ways to go, but so far, so good.

Here's a sneak peek at my latest set of cars for the GN55 mod. It's titled "the 1956 Season carset pt.4 (West Coast Edition)".
All of these cars appeared August 19, 1956 at Bay Meadows Speedway, San Mateo, CA. Though it was an official NASCAR Grand National event, the race featured mostly drivers from the West Coast, but a few NASCAR regulars made the trip out West. It'll be up soon!

The dirt track pictured above is Bakersfield Speedway by StrtRacrZ and Aaron Stewart circa 2005. The track in the second picture is Charlotte County Speedway, also from 2005, by riviera71, Omodified and Freew67 of ASTG. It would be awesome to have the old Bay Meadows track for NR2003, but it doesn't seem to exist...yet.
