Hello All! One of my favorite features of NR2003 is the customization that this game allows you to do. I have created some interesting custom cars and seasons on my own time, but now I wanted to share one with you guys! I hope y'all enjoy!

News Entering the 2018 Season:

1. Tracks Returning/Debuting


-The Tracks Returning Are:
North Carolina Speedway
North Wilkesboro Speedway

-The Tracks Debuting Are:
Nazareth Speedway
Nashville Superspeedway
Mid-Ohio
The Milwaukee Mile
Road America

2. Driver News (Most of this Actually Happened, but Pretend It's the Start of the 2018 Season)

- Carl Edwards shocked the NASCAR World when he announced over the off-season he was returning to
NASCAR. He again shocked the NASCAR World when he signed with Hendrick Motorsports in the #5 Car.
Aflac and Subway will come along as sponsors.
- Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced that 2018 would be his last season in the MECS. He will bring JR. Motorsports to the MECS as a single-car team in 2018, with Budweiser returning as his sponsor. RCR also allows Dale Jr. to utilize his signature #8 for his final season.
- Chase Elliot will change numbers at Hendrick Motorsports. He will now drive the #9 NAPA Auto Parts
Chevrolet.
- Juan Pablo Montoya will return to the MECS, running a limited schedule in the #02 Penske Ford.
- Aric Almirola will move to the #10 Car after Danica Patrick announces her retirement. Smithfield will serve
as his sponsor.
- Ryan Blaney will move to the #12 Car for Penske Racing. Menards will serve as his sponsor.
- Ryan Reed will make his debut this season as the fourth car for Roush Fenway Racing. He will drive the
#16 Lilly Diabetes Ford.
- Matt Kenseth left Joe Gibbs Racing to return to Roush Fenway Racing. He will drive the #17 Car with
Dewalt Tools returning as his sponsor.
- Erik Jones will move to the #20 after Matt Kenseth leaves that Car. GameStop will be his main sponsor.
- Paul Menard will move to the #21 Car, replacing Ryan Blaney at Wood Brothers. Motorcraft will continue to
serve as his sponsor.
- William Byron will make his debut this season, replacing Chase Elliot in the #24 Car. Axalta will serve as
his main sponsor.
- Daniel Hemric will make his debut this season as the third car for Richard Childress Racing. He will
drive the #29 Car with Smokey Mountain Snuff as his sponsor.
- Michael McDowell will move to the #34 Car, replacing Landon Cassill in the #34. Love's will
serve as his sponsor.
- Landon Cassill moves to a 3rd car for Front Row Motorsports. Aspen Dental will serve as his sponsor in the #35 Car.
- Bubba Wallace will make his debut this season, replacing Aric Almirola in the #43 Car.
- Cole Custer will make his debut this season running a limited schedule for Stewart-Haas Racing in the #51 Car.
- Christopher Bell will make his debut this season as the fifth car for Joe Gibbs Racing. He will drive the
#54 Car with Z-Line Designs as his sponsor.
- Ryan Preece will make his debut this season, replacing Erik Jones in the #77 Car for Furniture Row
Racing. 5-Hour Energy will return as his sponsor.
- Alex Bowman replaces Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the #88 Car. Nationwide returns as his sponsor.
- Kasey Khane will move to the #95 Car, replacing Michael McDowell at Levine Family Racing. Dumont Jets
will serve as his sponsor.
- Ricky Stenhouse Jr moves to the returning #97 Car for Roush Fenway Racing. Fastenal will be his sponsor.

3. Other Important News:

- NASCAR Added 4 Races to the Season (40 Race Season)
- NASCAR Removed the Chase Playoff Format. The
Champion is Now Soley Decided by Points
- All Restarts are Single File this Season
- Sonoma is a Night Race this Year
- NASCAR Rescinds 2016 Charter System Preventing Teams from Running a 5th Car as a Rookie

Yeah, I posted this on Reddit a couple of days ago, but it didn't get the reception this one has gotten so far. I posted a car request on the Paint Scheme Request Thread for the Reed Car Sunday. Hopefully, someone takes it up. Thanks for liking it so far!

I edited the news to make the changes make sense. This is a fantasy season so a lot of this is an idea, and would never happen in real life.
