Is there a way to convert .car to .tga?

This is probably basic information, but I dont know anything about .car files as I came here looking for some paint schemes to make custom diecasts. I do however know that I can use .tga files for this, and was wondering if there is a way to convert .car to .tga, because there is tons of amazing paint schemes made by you guys that werent produced for 1:64 scale. I also do not have NR2003 if thats how you have to convert it that way.

WinMip2 will open car files and convert them to either tga or bmp format.

no, these are for personal use only. i have reasons why i wont use templates not made by me for monetary gain

So I went and downloaded WinMip2 but keep getting this error message when I try to run it

The file is missing, you need to get it and put in in your winmip2 folder. Do a google search for it.

Cant you just export the paint scheme from car.file and it will make it a tga?

You can, but he says he don't have the game.
