Looking for a windows 7 pro professional for some guidance and or help. Trying to install the new NRatings program but windows won't let me. I am the machines administrator with full privileges, but still get this error message.
Anyone who knows where to look in order to change this please clue me in, I've searched everywhere on it and can't find where to make these changes.

No.
Command Prompt, Run As Administrator...

net user administrator /active:yes

Try installing the program.

Command Prompt:
net user administrator /active:no

This is a troubleshooter:

We have ancient accounting programs at work; with some versions of MYOB from the early 00s. Win 10 is just as nasty.

Tried this, didn't work, do I need to restart after doing the command before trying to install?

No.
1. Run Command Prompt.
2. net user administrator /active:yes
3. Sign out of account.
4. Sign in as Administrator.
5. Install program.

6. Run Command Prompt.
7. net user administrator /active:no
8. Sign out of Administrator.
9. Sign in as account.

Also - check your antivirus program. You might want to disable that for a bit if you still have no joy.
