It's not the same configuration Niki Lauda has the record for and look how smooth that track is compare to when he made the record.

This lap is bogus!

Oh yes I DID! If they want the record they need the same configuration at the very least and look at all the down force that car has and the turbo boost, just imagine if Niki had that back then.

LOL, You don't get out much do you.

I was going to explain to you (and Mick) why getting the 5:19 lap in the Porsche 919 Hybrid is impressive but my 5 year old wouldn't give up her crayons. Guess you will have to go read the various online articles and see for yourself. Just make sure you have www.dictionary.com open in a new tab so as to help you with the bigger words like:

The previous record stood for an astounding 35 years.

And as far as I'm concerned it still stands! It's not the same track! To break a record you have to do the same thing that the record was done on, that's like saying the new record for a 100 meter run by a female was broken by a male.

It's you and everyone else who thinks this it legit who needs it dumbed down to understand.

For those about to rock...no wait, for those who need a wheel...

1 British Pound is about 1.32 US dollars

The plan is: Riverside, Ca. to Mason City, Iowa, then to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, then to Idaho Falls, Idaho via Fargo, North Dakota, and Yellowstone National Park, then back to Riverside...it's 4,400 miles or thereabout ...CAKE!

I like to drive...

Like I said CAKE!

The Wisconsin to Yellowstone via Fargo, is because I've never been to North Dakota...that will give me everything but some of the New England states...

When you go threw Des Moines you'll only be about 50 miles away, but you'll probably threw there when I'm at work.
