I want to make a car with just different associate sponsors on a car that has been done, and my question is if you can go back to .car files and edit them. Is there a way to do that, or when it's a .car file then you can't edit it again?

You can export a tga of the car and then edit that, but it isn't as easy as it sounds. The best way is to remake the car from scratch the way you want it, but that is a challenge as well.

You can download Gimp for free and open a tga file and export it as a jpg file edit the jpg with any paint program the reverse the process to get it back to a tga through gimp and you're done.

Problem you would run into with editing existing is the shading. You remove a section and put down a new logo that doesn't replace the shading that was there. So like someone said, the best way is to start over from scratch.
