Somehow I didn't get around to posting for rFactor...go figure...

So as part of a triple top secret project for another sim (with the initials: NASCAR HEAT) I was looking thru my rFactor tracks to see if the 2017 T/A schedule tracks were there...(OOOPS...I shouldn't have said that...)
Triple top secret project.. owww! I wanna know more boss! LOL :) :)

Sooooo now I'm looking for the cars to do a car set for rFactor...the exercise is not in vane as collecting everything I need for the set would be able to do double duty down the road...
2016 and 2017 seasons?

I beg to differ on that one.. But we all have our opinions on certain things. My problem with NR is that for over a decade we were stuck with CUP and GNS physics dating back to 2003, and there was no room for improvement with editing, unless it was done in just private.. But time are changing so hopefully some modmakers do something with some of things that have been happening in the community in that department. Unless they just go the same route with just popping in the old physics like normal.
Fair enough. The physics have always bugged me too, but considering they were designed for stock-cars, I like how they handle vs something like rFactor, which is much more geared towards road racing. I haven't dived too much into HEAT's physics, primary because I'm picky over how my wheel reacts on games, and I haven't had much time to fiddle around with the settings for it.

I enjoy racing Rfactor, AMS (Automobilista) Just because I mod for NH does not mean I think it's god's gift to all of motorsports type of racing. :) Heat has been great to us on an editing platform, we can edit the physics any way we saw fit for any type of mod we wanted to make.. That plus over a decade of friendships is what has kept me around for so long. The friends and relationships I've built sometimes out weight things. :)

Now you wanna talk about Roadracing. Man you have got to check out the Aussie V8's in AMS. Renato and Neils have done a kick ass job in the physics department with that game.. :) I've been spending a great deal of time just racing that game offline just for the pure enjoyment of it.. On a modding front, I'm waiting to see what there new game for later in 2017 is all about.. I like the Reiza Studios development team, they take there time, and actually talk with folks in the community, and they are a small enough development team, and community that it reminds me so much of Heat..
I didn't mean to imply that you thought that way, it was just the only other strictly stock-car racing game I could think of off the top of my head. :)

AMS is on my list of things to get once I get some more funds rolling in, along with some older sims that I want to get to fill out my library. The reviews I've seen for Project Cars aren't that promising.

Getting back to rFactor, I honestly wish someone would make a Funny Car mod for it. I know Drag Factor is out there, but that's mostly Pro Stock and Top Fuel, which I'm not as crazy about.
