I still say the only reason the Impala looks good is because at the end of the day it is on a Chevy SS body with SS bodylines. The impala itself would not look as good as this.

If I could make a model of the Impala, that would be different. Had to use what was out there. Who knows, maybe the Cruze would be a good choice.

Most open wheel mods for all sims are difficult, I've often said that until you get painting them (open wheel templates) you haven't arrived as a painter...it takes many tries at most of them...I know only a couple mods (those are rFactor mods) that have open wheel templates that are straight forward...the rest are just a nightmare

OK, here's to Highbank's challenge, an Indy Car paint using Bill1947's great fade graphics and logos. I must say these things are a true pain to paint.

Thanks Joe, took 2 days just to get the white lines on, and they still look like crap. There's not very many flat parts to this template.

Well done. Those templates sure are tough. I've done a couple of paints on them. I will say that they are simpler than the CART Panoz DP 01 bodies that almost made it into a mod. You had to paint those on 2 templates which was not fun at all!!
Of Course that was years ago.
