I’m not sure if anyone can help. I run nr2003 (disc, legally purchased). I like to run full seasons offline. Rarely, but occasionally the game glitches and crashes. For example maybe once every 50 races. Doesn’t seem to be a pattern or any trigger to it. My question is every time this does happen, I lose all my control &graphic settings as well as all my saved season standings with the win counts, top 5s etc. Is there any way to stop this?

I remember back when I had windows XP, I would have the same thing happen, what you can do is get the No Cd version that everyone is using, nr2003 has been abandoned so you aren't stealing anything anymore. Also get the patches including the 4gb patch. Save your cd from scratches and all that. I have had nr2003 crash with the No Cd for various reasons and the controls stay calibrated as well as the graphics. Curious as to what OS and computer your using.

I used to be so good with this stuff when the game came out and I was 11-16 lol. I have no idea what operating system I even have. I’ll look into it, it’s a 5-7 year old HP laptop pretty basic one. I’ll try the patches and see what changes. It’s just getting frustrating running the full 2023 cup Xfinity and truck schedules offline, to get 10 races into my 2024 season and lose all my statistics and progress.

I haven't done a championship in years, but are you saving your results manually in the championships or just letting the sim autosave the results.
I might try a championship to refresh my memory.

Yea I just tried it and I understand now. Easy thing to do is go to your players folder and in your player folder of the player your using there is a season folder with the season files in there, after each race you can copy and paste the season file in a separate folder and that would be your back up, just copy and paste into the folder overwriting the one before so it is always up to date before you start another race, that way if your season file gets deleted you can copy and paste the back up back into your season folder, and then just continue on with the overwriting, that would be an easy way.

There is a season editor available but I haven't used it, that would be something else to learn. but easiest would be what I suggested, I think that would work.
