Ok, I sure didn't see these first 4 race winners to start the season. McDowell, Bell, Byron and Larson... Maybe Harvick (been non factor so far), Hamlin (got no help at Daytona), Chase (just racing stuff happens), Truex (bad luck), Keselowski(still not talking to Logano).

Yep, I just didn't see these race winners.... so who win's next?

Bowman's looked good but has had some bad luck as well (wreck at Daytona, tire issue late at Vegas).

No.
McDowell - The Law of Large Numbers: If you perform an experiment often enough, the result you want should come up eventually. 361 starts for 1 win? That sounds a bit like Jean Alesi.

Bell - 2017 truck series champion. 2017, 2018, 2019 Chili Bowl Nationals Champion. 2013 USAC National Midget Series Champion. I would be more surprised if he never won a Cup race.

Byron - Most laps led. Stage 2 winner. Looks pretty normal.

Larson - The dude was hired by Hendrick because he could win races. He's done that now.

McDowell is the outlier. JGR are currently 1, 5, 8, 14. Hendrick are currently 3, 4, 11, 18. Hamster and Horseface are top of the stack. The whole season when zoomed out, looks normal.

Good point. Hendrick have seemed to be at the front more often but Bowman is dragging that down hard.

Maybe this season is looking odder because of how badly Bowman, MDB and Almirola have started, as well as the large amount of personnel change?

Under 30's from Ford stable like Blaney, Briscoe, Custer, MDB, Buescher I will like one of those driver win. Also Chase Elliott and Bowman will win at some point before Chase begin.

If we apply the classic F1 set of points (9-6-4-3-2-1)

12 - Larson
10 - McDowell
9 - Bell
9 - Byron
9 - Hamlin
8 - Keselowski
6 - Elliot
6 - Logano
6 - Harvick
6 - Reddick
5 - Truex
4 - Dillon
4 - Busch Ky
3 - Busch Ku
2 - Blaney
1 - Preece

Bowman, Matt DiB, Kyle, Almirola are all on 0.
Stewart-Haas only have Harvick in the points; whereas Joe Gibbs has got all four in.

i want to say the season shack-ups will subside after phoenix but im afraid i may be wrong

We will see - Phoenix is a track where Harvick usually runs very good at, and with the 750 HP package, we may see better results from him and Kyle Busch.

Bowman's bad luck continues, Harvick was better, as was Joey and Hamlin, BUT Truex came through and beat the young guys and 1st timers... :)

We've now got six from six.

If we have more than sixteen, then stage points will have to be used; this proving the utter stupidity of having the playoffs; because it will have been consistent results that punched someone's ticket.
