I'm trying to make darker windshields & windows for the MENCS 2019. I converted the window mips to bmps. In other mods I made darker windows and it worked but having trouble in this mod. Example: I made the Li bmps darker and the Li_ti bmps lighter. I don't know what to do with the Li_s bmp. None of the other mods had a Li_s bmp. When I convert the bmps back to mips, it's like there is no glass at all. Thanks for any help. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

I believe all you need to do is open the ti maps in your paint program, black lets in all the light, gray gets them darker, the lighter the gray, the darker the windows. If memory serves me correctly.

Thanks for the reply. I did that but they still turned out to be like no glass at all. I'll keep on trying. Thanks again.

I was able to make the windows darker. The trick was to make the windowsL1 file darker and the windowsL1_ti file lighter.

Any chance you could put the mips up for download. For some reason I'm still getting clear windows with no window brackets showing. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks

Here's the mips I came up with. I changed the size of the mips to 512x512, there was no reason that I could see to make them 2048x2048 like the originals were.
